Did I mention I plan on doing movie night every Tuesday night? The last one ("Breaking Away") was a lot of fun and I'd like to thank every one that came out for it.

WHAT: For this week's movie, I'm showing a movie written by the same fella (Steve Tesich) that wrote last week's film. Some of you may have already figured out (or heard me talking about it) that I'm talking about "American Flyers". This is another classic bike film from the early 80's, starring Kevin Costner with a pretty sick 'stache. So if you missed "Breaking Away", here's your chance to redeem yourself. See you soon.
Sports physician Marcus persuades his unstable brother David to come with him and train for a bicycle race across the Rocky Mountains. He doesn't tell him that he has a cerebral tumor. While David powerfully heads for the victory, Marcus has to realize that the contest is now beyond his capabilities. / Features great views of the Rockies and an insight in the tactics of bicycle races.
