“All railroad crossings shall be redesigned with turnouts wherever such facilities
are needed to allow bicyclists to cross railroad tracks at right angles. In addition, markings and signage should be provided according to best practices.

This policy shall be required for all street resurfacing projects, such as
overlays and seal coats, and for all sidewalk construction projects. In
addition, some locations should be selected as high priority in order to improve
safety.”
