Social Cycling ATX presents: Thursday Night Social Ride - GET THAT BOOZE!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, this weeks TNSR is gonna be even MORE of a booze hunt than usual. Read on for the details:

Wow this weather is incredible! It looks like Spring is here. All you Social Cyclers of the cold hating type, pump up your tires, throw a little lube on the chain and come back to your Thursday Night Bike Crew. It's time. We've missed you. But be sure and come to our well lit winter time meeting spot, Plaza Saltillo at East 5th and Comal.

We have a special mission this week as we ride through our city's streets. Somewhere, at some park (i know, you don't) there will be a keg stashed in the bushes courtesy of a really cool guy and one of our riders. It's good beer, it's free and it's hidden. Let's ride around and go find it.

After we find and finish our hidden treasure, we will head down to the original TNSR hangout, the Jackalope for a very special evening of Irish culture (FREE JAMESONS, while supplies last) and $2 buck pints of anything in the house. The fine folks who make our favorite companion to a cold beer will be there to hang out with us. Pretty damn cool. Thanks once again Jackalope for hooking this town up!

**special note: The Full Moon ride is Thursday as well and meets at 11:30pm at the Pedestrian Bridge. It's an awesome ride that goes well into the wee hours. If going, and I recommend everyone does, plan ahead and be ready to ride (aka don't drink a gallon of whiskey).

ROUTE: Pffft. You fools would search every park on the route if i told you.

WHERE AND WHEN: Our winter time meeting place, Plaza Saltillo (map: http://tinyurl.com/26vcmbf) at 7pm. We will hang out for some social time, then take off at 7:30pm. DON'T BE LATE THIS WEEK. WE'VE GOT A BUNCH OF RIDING AND FUN STUFF GOING ON.

WHAT: A bike ride with a bunch of your favorite Thursday Night Bike Friends. We ride, we hang out at parks then we go have some beers.

HOW: Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, yield the right of way and let cars pass as best we can. We are cool to both our fellow riders and the other traffic on the road. Listen up to those volunteers who are helping to lead the ride. They are some nice folks and have you best interest in mind.

WHAT YOU NEED: LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, a lock, a valid ID for the after party and money for TIPS and fun at the after party.

How MYSTERIOUS, and as a lead-in to the Full Moon Cruise, this should be a good time if you don't get too crunk. If you DO, then it should be a GREAT time. ;)
