The celestial order presents: Full Moon Cruise! FRIDAY! SXSW!!! MADNESS!!!!!!

THIS Friday is the Full Moon Cruise, and with this insane aligning of the stars that includes SXSW, the fullest moon in for fucking ever, and the stealthy return of my favorite (((moon))). Well damn. You've gotta be there.

As the temperature begins to warm and the ground begins to thaw, earthworm casts appear, heralding the return of the robins -- the Full Worm Moon. The more northern tribes knew this Moon as the Full Crow Moon, when the cawing of crows signaled the end of winter; or the Full Crust Moon, because the snow cover becomes crusted from thawing by day and freezing at night. The Full Sap Moon, marking the time of tapping maple trees, is another variation. To the settlers, it was also known as the Lenten Moon, and was considered to be the last full Moon of winter.

(Full Worm Moon? wtf? Oh well.)

This ride falls on a Friday night and it falls during SXSW, so it has the potential to be huge! Because of SXSW I'm creating the event earlier than normal, and will try to promote the ride as well.

Be at the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge (now extending all the way across Caesar Chavez street!) at 11:59pm 03/18, Friday night, we ride at about 12:30am.
