Austin Bike Poster Show looks for SUBMISSION! SUBMIT by April 23rd or else!

Bike month is nearly upon us, and with it comes a whole slew of awesome events including the Austin Bike Poster Show! Last year they had nearly 50 entries and theis year they're trying to double it, so if you've got an idea for a poster and can execute it before April 23rd (you got 10 days!), get that shit together and send it to them. Here are the details:

Seeking bike poster submissions for this year's Austin Bike Poster Show. The purpose of the show is to promote cycling for transportation in Austin. This year we are constructing a portable display tower for the posters to set up at various venues around town following the show.

The Austin Bike Poster Show will run throughout the month of May (bike month) - May 6 to June 5. The Show opening will be Friday, May 6, 7:00-9:00 pm at the Frame
Corner Gallery in north central Austin. In addition having them on display at the Frame Corner Gallery during the month of May, the 20 selected show posters will be on display in the atrium outside city council chambers the week of May 16.

We had 46 posters submitted last year, and there were some extremely good ones! I anticipate we will get double the number of submissions this year. Help me get
the word out - but most important, SUBMIT A POSTER. Deadline for submission is April 23, 2011. I have set up a facebook page as well to keep those interested up on progress as we get closer to the show.
