Social Cycling ATX presents: Thursday Night HAAAAAAAAAAAAY RIDE!!!

That's right folks, it's back...

If you've been riding with us for a while, you know that we like to keep it fresh and try new things. But every once in a while, we stumble upon an idea so RIDICULOUSLY awesome that it BEGS to be repeated. This week we are bringing back the most EPIC of all EPIC TNSRs. Pull on your boots, snap up those pearl snaps and brush up on your stripper moves because this week is the return of...

THE HAAAY RIDE!!!

For those new to our famil...y, let me break it down. It's our usual bike ride around town... in your finest western wear... to a gay bar... for an epic dance party... and strip competition with $100 prize for both the mens and womens. (no i'm not joking)

After we ride around town in our FINEST WESTERN WEAR we will land at Rain, a fine establishment that caters to the gay community. They are providing some nice drink specials and probably the craziest after ride party of the year. Special thanks to them for having us. These are some really nice people who are supporting biking in Austin. Please thank them for having us when we get there.

**special note: you will be dancing (a lot) so please don't bring a bag that you will have to put down unattended. this year there will be a bag check but the space is VERY limited. i encourage everyone to travel light this week.

ROUTE: working on it.

WHERE AND WHEN: We meet at Festival Beach (http://tinyurl.com/48yq5zu ) through the Spring, Summer and most of the Fall. Get there around 7:00 for some social time. We take off around 8pm.

WHAT: A bike ride with a bunch of your favorite Thursday Night Bike Friends. We ride, we hang out at parks then we go have some fun at a great bar!

HOW: Social Cycling Austin rides AS traffic and NOT AGAINST it. We stop at red lights, yield the right of way and let cars pass as best we can. We don't block intersections. We are cool to both our fellow riders and the other traffic on the road. Listen up to those volunteers who are helping to lead the ride. They are some nice folks and have you best interest in mind.

WHAT YOU NEED: BOOTS, HAT, SPURS, PEARL SNAP SHIRT, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, LIGHTS, a lock, a valid ID for the after party, money for tips!!!!!!!!!!!
