Strawberry Full Moon Cruise coming up in ONE WEEK!

Looks like the next full moon happens at Wednesday 15th June 2011 03:13:36 pm CDT. You know that what means!

Full Strawberry Moon Bike Ride! Strawberry picking season peaks during this month. Europeans called this the Rose Moon. There will be also be a total lunar eclipse that will be visible across much of South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. Totality will last an unusually long length of time: 1 hour 40 minutes.

We meet at the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge at 11:59pm 6/15 Wednesday night, and roll out at about 12:30am. Routes are generally determined on the fly, but if you have some suggestions about where we should go, by all means share!

There might have been some confusion about the date -- 6/14 isn't the correct date, 6/15 11:59pm is.

As always, ride at your own risk, having lights on your bike is a good idea, it's a good idea to have at least enough tools to change a flat, etc.

This is a mid-week one, so expect all those friendly faces that work weird jobs and aren't usually out on the plethora of weekend rides that always happen. Thanks for keeping us in the know Doug!
