LOBV Presents: Bike-in Movie at the Holly House!

This Sunday the fine folks of the League of Bicycling Voters are kicking off their monthly Bike-in Movie series with a showing of Donnie Darko! Here are the details of the event:

Hey y'all, the LOBV is going to start a monthly bike-in movie and we're doing a sort of warm-up run this Sunday at my house. The start time is 8:00 but the movie won't get going til the sun goes down, which is closer to 9.

What we're watching: Donnie Darko* - because I like it and I haven't seen it in a while.

What to bring: bikes**, beer, your butts, and something to put under them. We've got a smoker here as well, so bring something to cook on that, if you want.

Cost: Free, but you're welcome to donate to LOBV if you want. No pressure; this is for funsies.

Also, if anyone happens to want to bring a blu-ray player or a PS3 with a working disc drive, I only have a DVD of the thing, and it probably won't look that awesome on the projector unless it's upconverted. Be even better if someone brought a Blu-Ray player AND the Blu-Ray disc of Donnie Darko.

The event takes place at the Holly House, aka. 1808 Holly St on the east side. It's a good spot for chilling, but be sure to bring a blanket or something to sit on as seating will be limited.
