San Marcos Pub Crawl #9

The bikers down in San Marcos sent me some info on their monthly pub crawl so I figured I'd repost it here for y'alls benefit:

Not quite in the ATX but what the hell, it's close enough to bike. ;) The ride goes down Thursday the 17th. The start time is 7:45pm and the meeting place is The Showdown, which for us out-of-towners is at 207 E Hutchison St San Marcos, TX 78666. Wow, y'all have the best zipcode in TX! Word has it they've been getting some good crowds so if you're in South Austin or the San Marcos area grab your bike, a friend, and show up at The Showdown for some good times and unforgettable (though probably foggy) memories.

As a mini-PSA, here's their tips from the groups' myspace page:

Bring: CASH!, swim apparel, your fake ID, bike, lock, love for thy biker, any tools/pumps needed, helmet (recommended) and of course, LIGHTS! (texas law: 1 rear red reflector or light AND 1 forward WHITE light, visible 500 ft.)
respect all traffic laws (http://bicycleaustin.info/laws/)
be able to hold your alchy and still ride (dont be THAT girl/guy, or get hurt/ticket), no cars allowed.
