Here's what the Farmers' Almanac has to say about November's Full Moon:

November
Full Beaver Moon

For both the colonists and the Algonquin tribes, this was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. This full Moon was also called the Frost Moon.

As you all know, there's rarely frost in November in Texas, so I guess we're gonna have to go with that other name instead. I wouldn't suggest actually dressing the part, though. It does get kinda cold nonetheless...

11:59pm on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge, Thursday the 13th. Bring flashies, lots of beverages to keep hydrated, and layers to strip off as you work up a sweat. And a beaver, if you've got one.

Awesome. Simply Awesome. Fresh from the west coast, I'll be there. Thank you Austin.

Full frontal beaver ride? I'm there... with my man-beaver.

did I hear something about bombing the biggest hills in austin?
fixed gears are like butt holes, every one has one.

I certainly hope so!
