10 reasons why today was awesome!

In absolutely no particular order, today I:

1. Scored a bunch of choice gear at Mellow Swap (BMX wheelset, cinelli stem, LX cassette, E-13 chainring and bashguard, Timbuk2 bag, Zeus seatpost, specialized seatpost, serfa seat, and other stuff I don't remember)

2. Biked to the bike shop to score a seizure light and they actually had it in stock!

3. Ate a KILLER pizza at Frank and Angies with my lady. Pepperoni, roasted garlic and spinach was how we did it and DAMN it was good.

4. Cruised to Epoch with my wife, drank tasty coffee and bumped into a couple friends, who then joined us for the ride back home.

5. Rode down Shoal Creek and the Shoal Creek trail, enjoying the awesome weather and great views. Wacky stuff happens in Pease park on Saturday.

6. Had entirely too many people compliment me on the website. You guys are way too kind, but I'll take your free beers anyway.

7. Finished my Karate Monkey, FINALLY! Built it as a 2x9 with a bash guard and it looks BURLY.

8. Read the news that Capital Metro buses are going back to their regularly scheduled routes this Monday. THANKS GUYS!

9. Watched showgirls with my wife and friends, drank whiskey and posted this entry. At the same time.

10. Ate free BBQ and drank free beer at the Mellow Swap. What can I say, the way to my heart is through my stomach.

11. Read the Southwest Cycle News' November edition and saw that ATXBS got mentioned in a big way in Bob's article. You rule Bob!

What an awesome day, and now I'm watching Metalocalypse so it's only going to get better. Hope y'alls days were half as great as mine was.
