Alleycross Race #2 - This Sunday you're gonna get drrty...

Second - just like I said would happen, I'm bored of waiting on the weather so I'ma do another race this weekend. Stats:

Name: Alleycross #2
Date: 12/7/08 (Sunday, natch)
Time: 8 PM
Start: Lamar Ped Bridge
Cost: A fiver
Style: Urban Cyclocross
Approximate Race time: 30-45 minutes
Recommended gear: Knobbier tires
Required gear: The brightest headlight you can find.
You won't need: Bag, lock, pen, etc. You can leave them with me on the bridge if you like.

Important: The course will change dramatically based on how many spectators show up. So, basically, you choose whether you want to kick this thing up a notch based on how many loudmouthed people you can talk into showing up. The weather should be real nice for hanging out with people on the bridge so no excuses.

I normally would be against the idea of planning a race so close to another race, but 3 things swayed my decision:
1) With all the holidays lately, I need to try to schedule these on days that won't be as affected by people leaving town, etc.
2) Knowing the layout/style of the race on Friday, I know you tough guys and girls can handle both. There's even a rest day and a half inbetween! You can do this, no sweat.
3) The group that showed up last time for the alleycross doesn't have much crossover. There is xChrisx, of course, but he's got enough stoke for 4 people AND himself. This will not be a problem.

Alright, now everyone go find some treadier tires and put them on your bike. Or at least get them out and then put them on Saturday, after Fast Friday.
