Check out First Night Austin with the Austin Bike Zoo!

Sachi sent me an email about this a while back but I forgot to post it...

The Austin Bike Zoo is going to be taking part in the First Night Austin Grand Procession! If you haven't seen what they do, take a gander:

Beyond the Austin Bike Zoo's participation in the procession, there's also going to be a "Celebrity Pedicab Race". Dunno if the celebrities will be riding or pedalling the cabs, but I can only assume that the famous people will be doing the former while all our pedicabbing superheroes will be doing the latter. Go check this shit out! I'll be in town and will be down there for the parade and fireworks at the least, so if you see me down there, holla!

The procession happens December 31st from 6:30pm-7:30pm, starting at 7th and Congress, and ending down at Auditorium shores for fireworks! There'll be more fireworks again at midnight, so if you stick around for the bars make sure to step outside for 15 minutes when the clock strikes to see some explosions.
