WEIRDOS FTW!!!

I managed to eke out fastest finish/second place in the "fat boy" category of Brent Nutting's Hangover Rover. That race was dope! To begin with everyone had to take a shot of jager before riding; I graciously threw myself in front of Chris Lee's shot, so it wouldn't go to waste. All the checkpoints were strip clubs where you had to identify pictures of different mustachioed men (Sam Elliot, Burt Reynolds, Tom Selleck, Salvador Dali, and Senor Nutting himself), and you got extra points of you snagged matchbooks from the clubs. Even though I finished first on my tall bike I slipped to second due to not getting any matchbooks (oops), but still had a hell of a time. The real first place finishers were Kris and another guy racing as a team, both on Xtracycles. The points they lost in speed they more than made up for with scavenger items, and I love seeing weird bikes in the lead! Good job fellas!

For the skinny guys, first and second were Paul and Shannon the pedicabbers, respectively. They nailed second and third in the Snot and Tears race, so they're definitely some racers to look out for. Andrew of the ATXFixed blog made it somewhere in the top 5, and I don't remember who all else placed but there were lots of youngin's in the pack. Otherwise there were a lot of familiar faces and a lot of cameras, so I expect to see picture pretty quickly. I'll let y'all know when I know about 'em.
