PAIN and ANGUISH, one slurpee at a time.
I rode my tall bike downtown to check out the Fabulous Friday race put on today by Team Dix. That was a brilliant idea y'all. The race was 3 checkpoints, and at each one there were a set number of slurpee cups: 10 at the first stop, 6 at the second, and 3 at the third. When you hit the checkpoint you had to run in, fill your cup, come back out and slam it, brain freeze be damned! If you didn't get a cup you were out of the race. After filming the pre-game and start of the race I booked it over to the third checkpoint to see the look of agony on the "winners" faces. Let me tell you, it was PRICELESS! Between Jamie's pictures and my video I'm sure we captured some great expressions. After the race everyone headed to the east side for side competitions like skids, wheelies, foot down and the like. I booked it from there because I was hungry and in need of caffeine, but I still managed to fall off my bike in the wheelie competition before leaving. All in all a good time was had by everyone, whether tight pants were worn or no! I'll link to some pics as soon as they show up in the usual spot...
