Alleycross Race #5 - Shoal Creek trailblazing

Just got this from Brian Davies regarding his latest Alleycross race, happening this Sunday:

First - welcome to all the new people or people that have just been added, or re-added, to this list.

Second - There is a race on Sunday. Lamar Ped Bridge. 7 pm. $5. Potentially cold, guaranteed fun.

Third - Do your homework! You have a few days left to get to know the Shoal Creek trail. This race will definitely incorporate part or all of that trail. Get to know it at lower speeds and, preferably, in the daylight.

Last - I have some real, live sponsors sending me stuff! And one local one, that needs to get me my prizes. *ahem*

Ok, I will send out more later in the week, when I'm not half asleep. Until then - go ride shoal creek! If you crash on Sunday and haven't practiced, you don't get a band-aid. hehe

Nice! Go beat yourself up on the Walnut Creek trail with the off-road fixed gear guys, then haul your ass downtown to race with the alleycross guys. $5 on the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge at 7pm. You don't need a bag but make sure you have lights. Talk about an awesomely brutal sounding Sunday!
