ACA presents: Sit-down with Art Acevedo, APD Chief of Police

I know I can be paranoid and cynical, specifically in relation to the police. Even though I give 'em hell over this whole crackdown thing, I honestly do think they're trying to improve relations in many ways. Here's an example of some cops looking out for the cycling community. Another of the ways is actually coming up this March 2nd. The Austin Cycling Association is hosting a Q&A Session with Police Chief Art Acevedo, which is open to the cycling public.

This should be interesting. I for one plan to be in attendance, and if you have any questions about the way the Austin Police Department interacts with the cycling community, you should show up too.
