Project Catapult Meeting - THIS Saturday!
Rob D'Amico just released the information on the time and place of the Saturday meeting I mentioned yesterday:

5 MonthsWould you like to see five significant bicycle projects/programs put in the works in five months? The League of Bicycling Voters would, and we're going to make it happen.

d. Public Education Program
e. Bicycle Parking Project

VI. Free BeerAll you need to bring is yourself, and a #3 pencil.
This sounds very interesting and ambitious. Actually pushing the city to COMPLETE some bike projects over the next few months would be freaking awesome. Unfortunately the meeting completely overlaps Frankenbike time-wise, but the events are close to each other (Rio Rita and the TBC HQ) so maybe I can hit both of them. See y'all out there Saturday, and remember to bring a pencil! Did I mention "free beer"?
Indeed, we were forced to schedule at a bad time for Frankenbike lovers...but go there eary, come by TBC late, drop by just to check out the happenings...whatever works. Your mere presence to show interest will be appreciated, and we won't be offended by arriving or leaving midstream.
