Inside Books presents: PERSPECTIVES: 10 COUNTRIES, 10,000 MILES, 13 MONTHS and 2 BIKES

Just saw this notice posted in the ATXBS Forums, looks like a very interesting event:

PERSPECTIVES: 10 COUNTRIES, 10,000 MILES, 13 MONTHS and 2 BIKES

Thursday, March 5th, 6-9 pm, at IF & D, in downtown Austin at 208 Colorado.

Come for an evening presentation, slide show and photo exhibit of a bike through Asia. In 2006 skot! started riding his bike from Athens, Greece through 10 countries in Asia. In Pakistan he met up with Danielle, where they rode thru Pakistan, India, and Sri Lanka together. Other countries ridden through and, presented in photos and slides, are Turkey, Iran, Kazakhstan and Western China.

Even more of these photos will be on display at the Inside Books Project 10th Anniversary Birthday Party at the US Art Authority, Saturday, March 7th, beginning at 9 pm (There will also be bands, prisoner art, raffles and games at this event!)

at both of these events a percentage of the sales will be donated to the Inside Books Project, sending FREE books to people in Texas Prisons for 10 years.
