So I was thinking about maybe putting together an alley cat race. The prizes wouldn't be anything to fancy, but I think that it would be fun to have another race before the spring alley cat. Now I am a little poor, so I was thinking of having a local bike shop sponsor some of the prizes. Does anyone know of a shop that might want to do this?

I am pretty cool with the guys over at austinbikes. I will check with them to see if they would like to sponsor the race. I doubt it though. They just donated some gear to the Make a Wish Foundation. I will post back with the results. =)

When is it? Where is it?
Who is the organizer? Do you have permits? Insurance? Have you contacted TXBRA?
I was just like geez...it is a freakin alley cat. I figured a bigger store would just be like ok...here are some tires and other bullshit.

rumor has it that clown dog bikes is having an anniversary party comin up and theres going to be some racin involved.
fixed gears are like butt holes, every one has one.
Last April The Peddler put on an April Fools Race, dunno if they might want to throw in some gear for prizes. Austin Bikes also did an alleycat last February for their 1st birthday. They had a party this year but no race that I heard of, maybe they'd want to contribute. Honestly I dunno, but I'll ask around.
