Bike Hugger invades Austin via SXSW once again!

It's that time again! The SXSW Interactive festival kicks off in a little over a week, which means that those wacky Bike Hugger bloggers are going to be invading Austin! Last year they treated us to a nice, chill ride, plus free beer and barbecue afterwards, and this year's going to be no different.

Now this IS an OFFICIAL SXSW event, but don't despair if you don't have a wristband. According to their Mobile Socials page they're taking RSVPs either via Upcoming or via Facebook, and everyone who signs up gets in on the ride, the BBQ, AND the after-party, mark of the beast or no.

As for what all this "Mobile Social" entails, it starts Saturday, March 14th with a 2:00pm group ride meeting at the Susanna Dickinson house (near 5th and Neches), then a 4:00pm BBQ at Brush Square Park in the West tent, and then finally on to an after-party somewhere. I have no idea where that'll be, maybe the YBP fundraiser? Your guess is as good as mine! Remember to RSVP on either Upcoming or Facebook so they know how much brisket they'll need.
